Senior service providers are charged with the care of elderly persons who, in some cases, cannot care for themselves. Because the staff in these organizations are in a special relationship of trust with those under their care, many legal issues can arise if this trust is breached. It is clear that senior living/care facilities and their staffs can become involved in legal issues that other industries don't face.

With the initiation of the Affordable Care Act, much of how you do business, either as a provider or as an employer, will be changing. We are bringing together representatives with experience in elder law and employment law to share information and to answer some of your questions on the hot topics of the day.
